Last Week, Our Best Beauty Looks Were Uniquely Effortless

A passionate beauty writer with a keen appetite for makeup.…
Last week, our fave celebrities, beauty influencers and makeup artists shook up the industry with a wide range of nude face beats, glam makeup looks and a wide range of hairstyles. The beauty of each look was definitely in its effortlessness because no matter how simple or heavy the makeup or hairdo was, the women who wore these looks owned them with ease and poise.
Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim came through with some Afro vibes, glamming up in pink lipstick and fluffy eyelashes look as she promoted her new book, A Toast To Life. American singer Justine Skye was among the majority of women in this list who opted for bare-inspired glossy lips as part of their effortless approach.
On the editorial glam, New York-based model Jade Williams brought a pop of colour to the Gram while makeup artist Joy Adenuga created a shimmery melanin bridal glam inspiration every conservative bride-to-be will love.
As we sink our teeth into the new week, let’s take a look back at the beauty looks that caught our attention last week. So rich and diverse were the looks we fell in love with that we can guarantee that every woman of colour, no matter her style or preference, will get inspired by one of these looks.
