To achieve a killer outfit to that effect, definition and structure should be your end goals. What you want to do, for example, is to pair a monochromatic look with a geometric or abstract headscarf. Likewise, busy attire can be balanced out with a simple colored wrap.

Simply start by folding a square scarf in half diagonally, then take the two opposing ends and knot them under your chin. And that’s it. The babushka covers most of your head, is incredibly easy to do, and will stay in place all day no matter how frequently you’re moving.  Ways to style a headscarf.

You’ll need an oblong scarf to achieve this look. Start by placing the center of the scarf at the back of your head and pulling the two ends up and around to your forehead. Tie the two ends into a double knot, ensuring that the entire back of your head is covered with the scarf.

This method is also called the Babushka 2.0 and was beloved by Old Hollywood starlets. It requires a bit of a larger scarf than the babushka and just one additional step. Rather than simply tying the ends of your scarf under your chin, wrap them around your neck and over the back corner of your scarf before fastening them into a knot. Ways to style a headscarf.

If easy was a scarf-tying method, it’ll definitely be this one. It’s so easy it can be done in a matter of seconds, yes, you read that right. But this doesn’t mean it’s in no way stylish and can’t hold its own for a style star like yourself. So how do you achieve it? Tie the scarf around your ponytail and you’re good to go. You can achieve this look with pretty much any size or shape, as long as it can be secured in a knot.

The bandanna cap is the sister to the above but differs slightly in the method of tying. By making a simple tweak in execution, you’ll be giving off a more ’70s vibe as opposed to the 2000s vibe from the regular bandanna style. Instead of knotting your scarf below your hair, tie it on top of your strands and over the loose corner as well. Then tuck the excess fabric under the knot for a neat look.
