Last week, as fashionable male celebrities headed their merry way, they sought out eccentric looks with the right combination of casual ease, tasteful tailoring, and visual appeal.
Whether at parties or premieres, while running errands or in the front row, the only way to stand out is to go against the grain—be it a subtle shake-up or a complete revolution—to fascinating effect. This is something South African fashion designer Rich Mnisi had in mind as he stepped out last week. He proved himself by pairing a Jaded Man polo with a pair of wide-leg pants from his eponymous brand, Rich Mnisi. He wore the polo over a JW Anderson neck-long top. Rich offered a break from the typical and accessorized with a pair of Burberry sunglasses and a brown Jacquemus bag. He completed the ensemble with a pair of white Adidas sneakers. With this look, Rich was the poster boy for eccentricity.
For Nigerian reality star Neo Akpofure, a red and black color palette, cunning details, and relaxed proportions ruled the day. Neo showed off another side in a red and black Orange Culture coordinating set. He complemented the look with a pair of black leather boots and accessorized with a pair of round sunglasses. Sexy and simple, the minimalist details kept things interesting.
