A fashion enthusiast, cosmopolite and aspiring designer. I love traveling,…
Going on a long trip requires a lot of comfort, but as fashionistas, we want to be both comfy and chic because like my mom always says “you never know who you might run into.” So looking good is definitely my priority when I travel. I also once read a line in Glamour that went this way: “You spent a lot of money on those tickets! Just like at a special dinner or concert, you should honor the occasion with a look that makes you feel your best”.
As the exchange rate is dropping (read…economy getting slightly better), the temperature is getting nicer and the kids are getting out of school for summer break – travel season is upon us which means it’s time to get your airport style game in order to avoid a last-minute rush that could leave you looking frumpy at the airport.
Here are three easy inspirational looks to help you depart and arrive in style.
Look 1: Miranda Kerr’s Overcoat
You can never go wrong with stretch Jeans, a T-shirt, and a nice overcoat or bomber jacket. Complete the chic look with a pair of clean sneakers for extra comfort.
Look 2: Toke Makinwa’s- Full-on Tracksuit
What can be more comfortable than matching sweats or a full-on tracksuit for a long plane ride? Toke’s choice of a velvet full-on track is the definition of 2017 athleisure cool. Add a pop of colour with bright sneakers like Toke’s.
Look 3: Chrissy Teigen’s Extra-Long Cardigan
An oversize knit is basically like wearing a blanket on the plane for those who get cold easily. Just match it with slim-fit stretch denim, a casual tee and your favorite pair of boots with a posh handbag to complete your look. Remember, if you’re going to wear boots with heels, only do so on short flights to avoid unnecessary foot ache.
