As life gradually returns to a semi-normal state, celebrities and style stars across Africa – who happen to also be some of the best fashion influencers on Instagram – are finding more reasons to dress up, step out and make a fashion statement before the curfew kicks in wherever they are. African celebrities and top fashion influencers are consistently using their style on Instagram to prove that a global pandemic doesn’t equal an end to doing the things we love––especially if it keeps us going.

Even as we continuously preach the gospel of safety and ask that you observe social distancing rules, we also want to re-emphasize the fact that a fashionable outfit should not only make you look good on the outside but also make you feel confident from the inside out. That confidence is exactly what we can feel from the women on this list.

Last week, some of the most stylish African celebrities, influencers, and style stars stepped out in a range of amplified looks which they, of course, shared on Instagram. Trust Nigerian celebrities and style stars to nail their looks.

In Nigeria, celebrities and fashion influencers definitely put their best foot forward as they attended the first of major events since the pandemic lockdown was eased in Lagos, the Nigerian equivalent of Los Angeles. Nigerian American actress, ex-beauty queen, producer, host, and humanitarian, Osas Ighodaro, stepped out for the premiere of “The Smart Money Woman” TV series in a hot pink dress featuring slits on both sides. For the same premiere, actress Ini Dima-Okojie redefined what it means to be ‘bad and boujee’ in a custom houndstooth mini dress by Adéy Soile.

Over in South Africa, actress, and DJ, Thulisile Phongolo, kept things edgy in an all-black edgy look which featured a ruched pair of leather pants. She opted for nude glam makeup while finishing off her look with the monogrammed Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau iconic hatbox.

The looks shared on Instagram last week by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of stylish, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we’re, as usual, living vicariously through them. The top Fashion influencer instagram.
