This is the country’s most famous beach – perfect for swimming, with white sand curving in a banana shape around turquoise waters – hence its name. Banana beach, the jewel of the region, has no beach resorts and is mostly untouched. The only settlement is a small fishing village 10 minutes away and there are a good number of hotels not too far awat from this jewel.
