For some, life begins at 40 while for others, 40 is the new 20.! We can bet that Asake, creative director and CEO of Ashanis Collection, a ready to wear label based in Washington DC, is one of those who believe that 40 is the new 20 as she sure doesn’t look older than a lady in her 20s in her photo shoot.
The Ashanis woman is “confident, bold and stylish” and Asake is an embodiment of all her label believes in. Her first look portrayed her in a royal blue dress and matching gele with gold applique details and bold red lips that only a confident woman can carry while her second look consisted of a black sequined mermaid style dress with bell sleeves and her lippie was of a more subtle vibe.
