Last weekend, Nigerian celebrities and style influencers took their slayage to a whole new level. From aso ebi to red carpet looks, we spotted one too many rave-worthy looks; no, we’re not complaining, it’s exactly what we love but seeing so many hot looks this weekend made selecting the best a tad more difficult.
From the #Bamteddy2019 wedding to the Aquafina Elite Model Look East and West Africa finale which saw two 16 year olds, Zarad Afia Tashana from Ghana and Cubahiro Jordy Jeff from Burundi as winners, Nigerian celebrities and style influencers took to the gram to share the fashionable looks they served over the weekend and we’ve got our faves!

The Eric Moore brand recreated this Balmain original look for slay queen Toke Makinwa for the Elite Model Look 2019 show and she definitely made it to the best-dressed celeb list for the night. Toke keeps proving that no one does fashion quite like her!
All-around media personality and style star, Idia Aisien comes through every time and for Elite Model Look 2019, she opted for an orange suit that left us feeling very hot. She was gunning for the fashion royalty look and definitely nailed it!
Co-owner of Good Hair Ltd attended a wedding in an all-silver look while adding a dash of colour with her purse. Chioma Ikokwu relied on Style Temple for her dress and as usual, the brand came through and through.
Style Temple boss Og Okonkwo also came through slaying for the same wedding in a silver jumpsuit which she designed. The red purse and her short hair were the perfect finish her look deserved! Og’s look is what avant-garde aso ebi looks like.
Cynthia ‘Cee C’ Nwadiora
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cee C attended the #Bamteddy2019 wedding in a killer asymmetric dress featuring tulle flounce. The layering of the fabric, her glam beat and the matching gele were definitely worth a save and share.
New age Nigerian designer Tolu Bally consistently makes the world her runway whenever she steps out. She attended a wedding in a blue and gold combination and we love!
Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo
Fashion designer CEO Luminee, as she is popularly known on the gram, stepped out in a creation of her own and as always, she was stunning! The embellished gele sealed the glam owambe look she delivered.
Ify Michelle Okoye
Ex-beauty queen Ify Michelle Okoye also made our most rave-worthy looks for last weekend as she kept her look elegantly simple, finishing off with smokey eye glam and fringed bob hairdo.
Still on the looks from the Elite Model Look 2019, on-air personality and brand ambassador Kaylah Oniwo proved once again why every Style Raven needs a black dress in her wardrobe. She paired her look with a pair of gold strappy heels and finished off with a nude-inspired glam face beat and blonde wig.
Latasha Ngwube, also known Latasha Lagos attended the Elite Model Look 2019 event in a casual-inspired grey monochromatic look. Her shimmery kimono was donned over what seems to be a short black dress and she finished off her look with a net cage bag and animal print footwear. An effortlessly chic look, you’d agree?
