New York Fashion Week is still going strong and Nonye Goodie-Obi of Nonnistics over the weekend made Nigeria proud as she showcased an elegantly powerful womenswear collection tagged ERIN.
The date was Saturday, September 7 and the venue was Pier 59 of the prestigious Chelsea Piers. Designed for the woman who’s not afraid to celebrate the balance she’s found with her strength and femininity, the Erin Collection came in rich and delicate fabrics, unpredictable tones and standout details.
Presenting as the last of six international designers who made up the Oxford Studio Shows, it was truly a case of saving the best for last as pieces from the Erin Collection hit the runway. The collection was well received as Nonye Goodie-Obi, Nonnistics, Nonnistics Creative Director closed the show to a rain of applause.
Celebrity stylist Kanayo Ebi and British-born Nigerian singer and songwriter Tonye Garrick were both spotted in pieces by Nonnistics as they attended the show.

The brand, Nonnistics is a versatile design house operating from Lagos, Nigeria. Their first international debut was at the Glitz Africa Fashion Week in Accra in 2018.
