Tessa Thompson has been making media rounds across the world since she and her castmates for ‘Men in Black: International’ started their promotional tour. As part of her photocalls, she posed for a shoot at the Cite de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris and her outfit caught everyone’s attention including ours – it was appropriately exaggerated!
Paris is known as the home of fashion so dressing down would definitely be a fashion crime and thank goodness Tessa Thompson did not disappoint. Her stylists, Wayman and Micah who have dressed other A-list celebrities including Regina King and Yara Shahidi, tend to dress the actress in stunning, statement pieces and we are always here for it.
This time, the duo took things up a few gears by styling the 35-year-old in a next-level power suit by Hong Kong-born, London-based designer Robert Wun. The suit, from the Robert Wun Spring 2019 collection, is characterized by a black and cobalt blue sculptural tailor jacket and black wide-leg pants. Robert Wun made use of an exaggerated, appliquéd silhouette, bold blue colour and fine tailoring to deliver the quintessence of wearable art.
Tessa Thompson’s flawless beauty look also helped to pull the whole look together along with matching earrings and Christian Louboutin heels. This is very much an edgy and empowering look and definitely one of our favourites lately.
