Nigerian Celebrities Dripped In Prints This Past Weekend

We are always interested in what Nigerian celebrities and top socialites have to offer style-wise, and this past weekend one thing we caught on was the number of celebrities who slayed in patterned looks.

From floral prints to Ankara, the celebrities and style stars on this list were dripping in prints and got our approval with how they styled their looks. As you scroll through, keep in mind that the goal is picking up a style tip or two on how to rock your own print look.

Here’s how Nigerian celebs served print fabulosity this past weekend…

Yemi Alade

Singer Yemi Alade looked absolutely stunning in this matching Ankara two piece set shared by photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke’s this past weekend.

Kaylah Oniwo

OAP Kaylah Oniwo had a good laugh in this fantastic floral print voluminous dress, but who wouldn’t? This look is rich, beautiful and lightweight; you can tell that the dress offers an easy breezy feel plus the hat is just the perfect finish.

Zina Anumudu

Style and brand consultant Ozinna Anumudu stepped up her pyjamas print by giving it a bit of personality with the Hermès belt. The brightly coloured Ferragamo pumps took her entire look from 70 to 100!

Sharon Ooja Egwurube

A look we couldn’t uncheck from our list is this gorgeous artsy matching set on actress Sharon Ooja. She stepped out in this outfit around Valentine’s Day but I mean, who cares if it wasn’t a weekend look? Pre-weekend still counts as far as this attire is concerned.

Tracy Nwapa

Technically, Tracy Nwapa shared this look on Friday but we couldn’t pass on it since Friday is part of our weekend! Is it not part of yours? The print blouse with splashes of black, red and white bounced off the black and red skirt beautifully. See why we had to share?

Marcy Dolapo Oni

An all-black outfit is fun and we all love to fall back on its elegant vibe. However, you can take your look to the next level with the addition of print. In Marcy Dolapo’s case, the addition of the oriental print coat adds more than a touch of sass – we approve!

Wofai ‘Fada’ Ewa

Wofai certainly makes looking simple attractive. The new age actress and food entrepreneur posed in a fun print dress with white canvas and easily caught our attention. We love that this look is minimal but still enhances her playful vibes without doing so much.
