Last year, Louboutin collaborated with Goop.com, a lifestyle brand and E-store owned by actress Gwyneth Paltrow for a baby shoe collection. This collaboration was the seed to the luxury brand releasing a baby capsule collection this year. Before now, the Parisian footwear label has never created anything other than adult shoes, the only exception being special creations for high society clients. For Christian Louboutin, this collection is a way of testing out the market before fully launching this new segment.
Get ready to splurge as the pairs are just too cute! The pieces in this capsule collection are classics and mirror the ones sold on Goop last year. Designer Christian Louboutin created three baby shoe models, two of which come in print designs and one with red satin, all decorated with a bow and of course the brand’s iconic red soles. The shoe prints were inspired by the designs the brand developed for its Spring/Summer 2019 adult collection.
The shoes were produced in Louboutin’s Italian factory and you can only purchase them exclusively on the Louboutin E-shop. The sizes featured in the limited-edition collection are for babies aged 6-9 months. Priced at $250, only 600 pairs were made so good luck copping one.
