Fashion designer Karolyne Ashley who showcased at the Arise Fashion Week 2018 teamed up with Pro Model Africa to deliver re-imagined pieces of her latest collection and we have to say, the look-book is quite interesting.
The Karolyne Ashley collection’s theme is called “The Rebirth” and according to the design house,
“The campaign shoot showcases a 16-piece collection of evening wear looks inspired by the innate process of life in becoming the immaculate royalty that we’ve all been created to become.”
What makes this collection so artsy and captivating is the feminine essence illuminated by the floating prints with designs that show off the beauty of the ocean; the iridescent sequins that represent glitz and glamour and the aristocratic use of jacquard to offer you that hint of royalty. At a glance, you get to see that the collection also conveys a bit of the 1920’s Gatsby vibe – the headpieces, the jewelry pearl strings, the feathers and the cloche hats – all of which are a part of a decadent connection to the time period.
