Halloween is not over till Beyoncé says it is; can you fathom that? The Queen of surprises is at it again and this time, she gave everyone a treat by sharing looks of her epic Halloween costumes on her website and Instagram page. This year, the Lemonade singer joined the league of celebrities who paid tribute to their favourite icons by dressing up as Lil’ Kim to honour the female hip-hop legend in a post tagged “Halloween 2017: Lil’ Kim appreciation“.
The singer also shared a tribute message on her website “Hip-hop would not be the same without our original Queen Bee“. Lil Kim was thrilled by the tribute as she took to her twitter account to show her appreciation by tweeting the message “I am speechless and honored“.

We can all unanimously agree that Queen Bey has still got the sauce and she keeps dishing it. The 36-year-old singer took her costume game to a whole new level by donning not one but five different Lil’ Kim inspired looks and they were all spot on.

Missy Elliott’s ‘The Rain’ Music Video (1997)
The hot mama of three debuted her first Lil’ Kim look at Kelly Rowland‘s costume party. She wore every single piece of clothing from Missy Elliott‘s ‘The Rain’ music video in 1997. From the Chanel suspenders, white button-down, a chain belt, sunglasses, a pair of red trousers and Lil Kim’s infamous mole. While her husband, Jay Z dressed up as The Notorious B.I.G in a red leather jacket, white tee paired with a cane, chains, and sunglasses.
Manhattan File Magazine Cover (2001)
Queen Bey channeled Lil’ Kim’s look from her Manhattan File Magazine Cover in 2001. She donned a teal fringe wig with the Chanel logo all over it. She also wore the exact necklace, a plunging white tee, a pair of body-hugging jeans and metallic bracelet with a pair of teal contacts that matched her hair colour.
Today’s Black Women Magazine (2000)
For her third look, Beyonce wore a similar outfit from Lil’ Kim’s cover shoot in Today’s Black Women Magazine. A royal blue fur coat over a bright blue silk slip. She switched the Chanel wig for a honey blonde crop. She also wore the same pair of teal contact lens.
Source Hip-Hop Awards (1999)
This time, Queen Bey decided to channel one of Lil’ Kim’s red carpet looks from the Source Hip-hop award. She wore a shimmery sheer catsuit with a fur lining. She finished off the whole look by rocking a platinum blonde wig.
No Way Out Tour (1997)
For her last Halloween ensemble, Beyonce donned on an all lime green look from Lil’ Kim’s No way Tour. She wore a neon fur coat with a two-piece, a matching pair of pumps, Chanel chain belt, a fishnet bodysuit and a pair of green shades.
