Alternative Nigerian menswear brand, Orange Culture put out an interesting ready-to-wear collection at the recent Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week Autumn/Winter 2017 presentation, one which is a dream come true for any man who’s not afraid to push cultural boundaries.
According to designer, Bayo Oke Lawal, the brand Orange Culture explores the uninhibited modern day alternative Nigerian man who’s about fighting stereotypes.
“The brand’s identity is built on the idea that there isn’t just one type of a Nigerian man.” he says, “Our brand identity has nothing to do with political correctness, we continue to go against the grain.”
