Makeup doesn’t create beauty, it simply enhances one’s natural beauty. It helps you not only look good but feel good; a sort of confidence booster, you’d agree, which explains why it is most women’s best friend. Last week, we were inundated with thousands of beauty Instagrams from all over the world but only a few made a lasting impression.
From celebrities to influencers and models, we have curated ten makeup and hair looks that made our week. Each of these looks is as unique as the women featured but share a similar trait of being stunning and creatively inspiring.
Here are 10 stunning beauty Instagrams that made our week…
Award-winning Nigerian actor Dakore Egbuson Akande got her face glammed by renowned MUA, Banke Meshida Lawal of Banksbmpro. She rocked bold red lips, a nude matte eye shadow with long lashes, flaunting her signature cut eyebrows. She rocked the look with a long wavy hairstyle.
American actress and singer Zendaya also made our best beauty looks for last week with a golden-bronze eye shadow, full brows and pink nude lipstick. Her hair was left messy and wavy as she posed relaxed against a pillow.
American makeup artist, Danessa Myricks (who’s quickly becoming one of our absolute faves) slayed model Mearg Tareke’s face which featured natural-inspired brows, a rich brown glossy eye makeup and matching lips and intense lashes. She finished the look shimmering look with a matching brown headwrap.
Top beauty YouTuber and photographer Alissa Ashley got her face beat last week wearing green smokey eyes and wet, glossy brown lips. She paired the look with a blonde buzz cut hairstyle and the perfect green hoops.
Sophia, the self-titled “Queen of Shaku Shaku” (honestly, we’ve seen her Shaku Shaku moves, so it’s a well deserved title) got her face beat to perfection this past week. The subtle glam look was natural-inspired and was an easy favourite. She kept everything golden and brown, rocking a pair of twisted gold hoops and a classic pixie curls hairstyle.
